To bring the Qur'an, Arabic, and the foundational sciences within reach of our community, and to teach them with excellence and mercy.

Our vision

A generation in Zamboanga that reads the Qur'an with understanding, speaks the language of revelation, and lives its teachings with beautiful character.

Who we are

AT-TAYSIR Institute is an operating mahad serving students across Zamboanga City, from children building their first foundations to adults deepening what they already know.

Our classes are small and personal. Programs run in semesters the school sets, and students move at a pace their teachers know they can carry. That is what our name means. At-taysīr is ease.

What we stand on

Ikhlāṣ, sincerity

Knowledge is sought for Allah first. Intention comes before the lesson.

Itqān, excellence

Whether it is tajwīd or grammar, we teach it properly or we do not teach it at all.

Taysīr, ease

Learning is made simple and gradual, the way the deen itself came down.

Ummah, community

A school of families, not only students. Everyone here is known by name.
